When HELLA New Zealand’s Pakuranga Heights premises were let down by a flaking, peeling and water-damaged block wall, they called in Goliath Coatings. The exterior wall ran 96 metres long and stood 5–6 metres high, so the team worked from elevated access equipment to high-pressure water blast the entire façade at 5,000 PSI, stripping every trace of failing paint back to a sound, sealable substrate. We then locked the block down with a penetrating primer and damp-proofing system before rolling on two coats of UV-stable acrylic façade coating — restoring the building’s appearance while keeping moisture out of the wall and the surface cooler in the sun. The finished result was over 580 m² of durable, waterproofed exterior wall coating. It’s the kind of commercial façade coating, block-wall waterproofing and high-pressure water-blasting Goliath Coatings delivers across Pakuranga and wider Auckland.
