This Parnell home’s flat roof had reached the end of its life — the existing membrane was tired, UV-degraded and cracking, allowing water to leak into the living spaces below. Goliath Coatings planned a staged approach to make it watertight again: stripping the failed membrane, re-detailing the gutters and outlets, and reinforcing the junction points where membranes typically fail, before laying a brand-new Butynol roof membrane with meticulous detailing throughout. The result was a completely leak-free roof — and the client was so impressed she referred us straight to her neighbour, whose roof we re-membraned next.
