Near the Sky Tower in Auckland CBD, a basement car park’s ramp transition was causing pedestrians to lose traction and slip as they came down to street level. Goliath Coatings installed a heavy-duty, non-slip epoxy coating from Mapei rated for heavy vehicle traffic. We ground the surface to remove deeply-embedded oil stains, primed with Mapei Primer SN, and applied two top coats of heavy-duty epoxy across the 6 × 8 m transition. Completed in a single evening to avoid disrupting car-park users, it delivered a safe, hard-wearing, easy-clean finish.
