About this project

Gavin from Huntly Pools in Waikato engaged Goliath Coatings to break the cycle of yearly maintenance caused by years of layered coatings from multiple contractors. We sandblasted all three pools back to the original concrete substrate, and in the process discovered the wall between the main and children’s pools was leaking — which we sealed at a moment’s notice using Sika products. After cleaning the site, we laid the pool-epoxy base coat and two coats of mid-blue across all three pools. Seven days later they were filled and ready to meet the reopening deadline — 630 m² of durable, watertight pool coating across Huntly and the Waikato.
