A Totara Heights home needed a retaining-wall tanking system after water began leaking through the wall into the living space next door. Working in a tight, confined crawl space, Goliath Coatings hand-dug out a mix of scoria and soil, ground off the failed end-of-life membrane, and installed a bitumen primer with torch-on membrane sheets for a watertight seal, plus a drainage coil to divert water away from the home. With the client selling, we delivered to a tight timeframe — removing 24 m³ of soil and laying 18 m² of torch-on membrane — leaving a dry home for a very happy new owner. It’s the kind of retaining-wall and basement tanking Goliath Coatings delivers across Totara Heights and Auckland.
