Back at HELLA New Zealand in Pakuranga Heights, the facilities manager flagged a new issue — moisture tracking into the slab on the retaining-wall side of the factory. Goliath Coatings excavated down to the footing, applied bitumen primers and torch-on membranes, finished with termination bars, and installed 96 m of drainage coil to draw subsurface water away from the building. The result was a permanently dry interior with no more water tracking through the block wall and foundation. The project moved 216 m³ of soil, laid 144 m² of torch-on membrane and placed 115 m³ of scoria drainage. It’s the kind of comprehensive foundation and retaining-wall waterproofing (tanking) Goliath Coatings delivers for commercial sites across Pakuranga and Auckland.
