A Henderson homeowner’s downstairs rumpus room showed the tell-tale signs of a leaking slab — carpet lifting in the corners and damp patches spreading across the floor. Goliath Coatings lifted the carpet and anchors, ground the concrete back to a clean substrate to remove old adhesives, and laid an 8 mm self-levelling screed. Once cured, we applied three coats of Ardex WPM 300 — a hydrostatic-pressure-resistant liquid membrane that stops water ingress from below the slab — broadcasting the final coat with aggregate to key the surface for new carpet. The result was a dry, healthy, fully tanked basement floor ready for re-carpeting.
